LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS - (RULE 27)
(a) In or outside the external boundaries of the course, or in a ditch, trench, fence etc bordering them.
(b) In the club house grounds, car park, putting green, or in a garden, ditch, trench, wall, fence or hedge bordering them.
PENALTY - Stroke and Distance.
2. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS - (RULE 24.2)
Sprinkler heads, all wooden steps on the course, gravel and/or wood chip paths. The ball may be lifted and dropped within one club-length of the nearest point of relief without penalty. In addition if a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and an immovable obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows:
The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green. The ball may be cleaned when lifted.
3. MOVABLE OBJECTS - (RULE 24.1)
Stones in bunkers are movable objects.
4. YOUNG TREES - (RULE 24.2)
A 'Young Tree' is a tree tied to a stake. If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of intended swing, the ball may be lifted, without penalty, and dropped one club-length clear not nearer the hole.
5. GROUND UNDER REPAIR - (RULE 25)
Will be marked by G.U.R. signs and/or white lines.
6. WATER HAZARDS - (RULE 26)
Ditches across the 4th (13th), 6th (15th), 7th (16th) and 9th (18th) holes are water hazards. The ditch to the right of the 8th (17th) and 9th (18th ) holes is a lateral water hazard.
White stakes - out of bounds. Yellow stakes - water hazard. Red stakes - lateral water hazard.
7. DRAINAGE CHANNELS
Where a ball lies in a drainage channel through the green, or when the channel interferes with the player's stance, tha ball may be marked, lifted and dropped within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole in accordance with Rule 25.1. The ball when so lifted may be cleaned.
8.YARDAGE POSTS
The 150 yard posts are measured to the centre of the green.
ETIQUETTE
In addition to the normal Rules of Etiquette players are requested to replace divots. fill divot damage on the tees from the seed boxes. All bunkers should be raked over on leaving.
